In this post, we will learn about the NFTs of MEME TOON.

For those who love webtoons, the term NFT might not be familiar, so I will explain the basic concept.



An NFT is a digital asset with unique characteristics that can be tokenized. It can be applied to many things, such as turning an artist's drawing into an NFT, or issuing NFTs for unique abilities in game items.



In MEME TOON, NFTs can be used for intangible purposes such as serving as an admission ticket, a master key for subscriptions, a means of demonstrating one's status as a loyal user, and much more.

For example, in an online broadcast, an NFT can be used as a method to authenticate a devoted fan. Interestingly, NFTs can also have monetary value; you can buy them if you want to own the unique attributes and effects they provide. 

However, since only one unique NFT exists, transactions can only occur if the current owner decides to sell it and the price is agreeable.

MEME TOON's NFTs are actively traded on various secondary NFT markets (e.g., OpenSea).



 

Types and Introductions of MEME TOON NFTs

MEME TOON offers a variety of NFTs, from subscription passes to work ownership NFTs, artist support NFTs, and special NFTs. Let's explore them based on the white paper.

1. Subscription Membership NFTs

You can purchase a membership NFT with MEME TOON tokens (MT). A single subscription costs 30 MT, but buying a package (e.g., 40 subscriptions for 1200 MT) offers an additional 10 subscriptions, totaling 50. This provides about 10 extra subscriptions compared to buying them individually.

2. Work Ownership NFTs

You can also purchase work ownership NFTs through MT.

When purchased as a package, you will receive not only the total ownership NFT but also an additional special NFT as an advantage. A single subscription only gives one special ability, but the package provides an NFT related to special abilities, offering an advantage in terms of special ability consumption. Additionally, package products offer better performance in terms of durability, durability reduction, and recovery.

The special NFT, obtained by deducting the special ability from the ownership NFT, cannot be received even if the entire ownership NFT is collected through transactions between participants until the special ability is restored. Special ability restoration is sometimes possible through a lottery for 3,000MT or events.

(Note: The number of MT for single subscriptions and repairs, etc., may change according to the foundation's operational circumstances.)

3. Various Support NFTs by Agreement with Artists

1. Artist Support NFT
   This NFT supports the new works of an artist. It helps form a closer bond with the artist.
   
   
2. Artist Sequel NFT
   This NFT supports the sequels of an artist's previously serialized works. It helps form a closer bond with the artist.
   
   
3. Processed Content NFT
   This NFT supports the creation of content by processing the artist's previously serialized works. It helps form a closer bond with the artist.
   
   
4. Artist Communication NFT
   This NFT is for artists and fans who wish to communicate with each other.

       Notification

• If you want to issue the above NFTs, you need to apply for content support through MT. Applications can be made in units of 250MT, and users can negotiate the specific scope of the content to issue the related NFT.
• The application is 250MT, but an additional 50MT will be deducted for issuance (NFT issuance cost).
• The initial durability of the NFT is 0. You can restore durability up to 10,000% using 250MT, and fully restored NFTs can be enhanced and upgraded to a new tier.
• The benefits of enhanced NFTs will be released soon.
• The durability of support NFTs decreases by 1% per month. Once the announced purpose is achieved, all related NFTs or their durability may disappear or be converted into commemorative NFTs.
• The actual support for artists is calculated based on the NFT's tier and restored durability. Artists can receive support according to their objectives, and MT can be earned according to the announcement content's ratio and the overall participation support ratio based on the specific details of future activities. (Note: The ratio may vary depending on the NFT tier.)

4. Artist Profile NFT

Artists can apply for their own artist and work NFTs. These NFTs can include profiles of the works serialized on Meme Toon, as well as the artist's trademark on the intro pages, including signatures. These can be distributed to readers or sold to desired readers.

5. Original Creator Profit Guarantee Service for Artist NFT Transactions

This service is unique to Meme Toon, allowing the original creator (e.g., the artist) to set royalties using blockchain features if their NFTs are sold continuously in the secondary, tertiary, and quaternary markets. The original creator can directly set the agreed-upon rate and ratio. This feature ensures that artists can earn revenue directly, providing a safety net for a stable livelihood.

6. Various Event Participation NFTs

1. VIP NFT
   This NFT allows participation and invitations to VIP-related events hosted by Meme Toon. It is set up to enjoy the benefits of a subscription NFT
   
   
2. Premium NFT
   Similar to VIP NFT, but also allows additional participation and invitations to events hosted by Meme Toon for the artists. It includes the benefits of a subscription NFT.
   
   
3. Special NFT
   Similar to VIP NFT, but also allows additional participation and invitations to events hosted by Meme Toon and its partners. It includes the benefits of a subscription NFT.
   
   
4. Event NFT
   Similar to VIP NFT, but related to Meme Toon's events, and can be used as participation NFTs for future events based on the event details.
