MEME TOON Project Overview

We are excited to introduce the MEME TOON project, which will be operated through three main chapters. Today, we will delve into the first stage, Chapter 1, which covers how the memetoon project will be managed alongside the app and its overall ecosystem.
 
Projects without a well-structured ecosystem often fail. Examples include oversupplying tokens, which leads to ecosystem collapse and plummeting prices, or delays in rewards despite legitimate activities, leading to user dissatisfaction and ghost platforms.
 
Conversely, MEME TOON’s virtuous ecosystem supports authors both economically and within the platform, ensuring subscribers can access high-quality webtoon services. Let's explore Chapter 1: Block Chain Token & Staking UI/UX.



Chapter 1: Block Chain Token & Staking UI/UX

 

1. Tokens and MT (Points)

To use MEME TOON tokens (MEME), they must be exchanged for MT, a dedicated point system. Services can be accessed using MT, with a standard minimum exchange of 100 MT.

 


2. Usage of Webtoons and Processed Content

 

MEME TOON services can be used by utilizing MT, the dedicated point system, or by using NFTs issued through service use. As expected of a blockchain project, all activities are recorded on the blockchain ledger for participant benefit. Details on NFT issuance will be covered in Chapter 2.

 

3. Star Rating Service

 


Like other platforms, users can rate webtoon authors and their works. MEME TOON’s unique feature is rewarding MT for rating activities, promoting a positive ecosystem by encouraging honest evaluations.
  • Author Ratings: Periodic intervals
  • Work Ratings: Per episode 

4. Sponsorship Activities

 


Participants can sponsor authors or works using MT or MEME tokens. Sponsorships are directed towards:

 

  1. Individual author support
  2. Other creations by the author
  3. Sequel support for the work

Sponsors can also send messages (feedback or encouragement). Sponsorship may also earn NFTs, memberships, or event participation.

 

5. Referral Code Service


 

Similar to referral services on other platforms, MEME TOON App users have unique ID codes. New users entering an ID code upon registration receive 10% of the exchanged tokens in MT.

 

- Note 1: The reward source is not disclosed, only the reward record.

- Note 2: Benefits cease if the new user is inactive for over six months.

- Note 3: 50 referrals = VIP NFT; 100 referrals = VVIP NFT.

- Note 4: The referral code service may be adjusted in the future.

 

6. Staking Service

 


Users can stake MEME TOON tokens (not MT). Fixed benefits are provided based on staking period and amount, with a minimum of 10,000 tokens and a maximum of 100 million tokens. Refer to the table for details.



7. UI/UX

 

- UI (User Interface): Visual design elements (banners, fonts, layouts)

- UX (User Experience): User interaction and experience

 

MEME TOON prioritizes user convenience, allowing participants to sort content by day, popularity, latest, genre, or completion. Interfaces are designed based on user preferences and will be continuously updated to match trends.

 

8. Translation Service

 


To increase accessibility, a translation service (Korean, English, Chinese) will be offered, helping promote works more widely and supporting ecosystem circulation. This feature will apply to works with resolved legal rights issues.

 

9. Anti-Scanning Measures for Copyright Protection

 


To protect copyrights, anti-scanning technology (preventing unauthorized screenshots and recordings) will be implemented. Continuous monitoring and information collection will enforce this, aiming to protect authors’ income and provide higher quality webtoons.

 

10. Token Rewards for Serial Publications

 

Additional tokens may be rewarded when authors publish their works on MEME TOON App.

 

11. Monthly and Annual Awards for Outstanding Works

 

Regular awards will be given to exceptional works, providing tokens or MT as prizes, fostering healthy competition among authors to create better works.

 

This comprehensive approach ensures a sustainable and rewarding environment for both authors and participants in the MEME TOON ecosystem.

In this post, we will learn about the NFTs of MEME TOON. For those who love webtoons, the term NFT might not be familiar, so I will explain the basic concept.  An NFT is a digital asset with unique characteristics that can be tokenized.
