Ton Duc Thang University Signs Cooperation Agreement with Meme Entertainment


On June 14, 2024, the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed a cooperation agreement with Meme Entertainment (Korea) through Clip K Studios in Vietnam. This partnership includes organizing seminars, study tours, internships, recruitment, service utilization, joint training, scientific research, and scholarship funds. Meme Entertainment also awarded a 200 million VND scholarship to support Graphic Design students at TDTU.


Meme Entertainment, a leading company in Southeast Asia in webtoon, graphic design, comics, and applied art, seeks to collaborate closely with TDTU.



Ton Duc Thang University recently achieved a significant milestone by ranking 82nd in the 2024 THE World University Rankings. This achievement highlights the university's dedication to academic excellence and international standards.


Other Vietnamese institutions, such as Duy Tan University and Vietnam National University, Hanoi, also made the list, reflecting the growing quality of higher education in Vietnam. Duy Tan University ranked 107th, while Vietnam National University, Hanoi, was placed in the 301-350 range.


The THE ranking system evaluates universities based on teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and industry income. These rankings are influential and reflect the global competitiveness of institutions.


In Southeast Asia, Malaysia's Universiti Malaya and Thailand's Mahidol University are among the top-ranking institutions, showing the region's academic progress.


Ton Duc Thang University’s high ranking in the THE World University Rankings 2024 and its strategic partnership with Meme Entertainment mark significant achievements. These developments highlight TDTU's ongoing commitment to academic excellence and international collaboration, positioning it as a prominent educational institution in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.



This partnership also brings substantial benefits to Meme Entertainment. By strengthening academic and practical collaborations, Meme Entertainment can share academic research and practical experience, promoting cultural content exchange between Southeast Asia and Korea. This collaboration will enhance Meme Entertainment's global recognition and strengthen its presence in emerging markets. The company plans to expand its innovative content development and international cooperation through this agreement.
